1️⃣ How to get Arrested:
- Crime Scenarios in the city: The city is set up with various crime roleplay scenarios for you to engage in. Click on the rotating i’s around the city to get more information.
- Turn Yourself In: You can head to the police station to turn yourself in to a staff member or enter the “Turn Yourself-In Cell” at the police station. Stay inside the cell and wait for staff to spot you.
- Arrest Warrant: Fill out the Arrest Warrant Form at the police station. Once submitted, this will be treated as if the judge has issued a warrant for your arrest. If you’re spotted in the city, staff will arrest you.
- Prison Transfer: – If you’re a prisoner in a different prison sim and wish to transfer to our prison contact the staff at your current location. They will need to communicate with our Chief of Police, for the transfer process.
2️⃣ Once you been arrested
- You will be handcuffed and shackled. This is because we don’t want to chase after everyone trying to escape, and it ensures you feel restrained right from the start.
- You will be transported to the police station.
- At the station, you will be asked to fill out an intake form. Be sure to complete all the details. Afterward, you will be required to undress so that we can search your belongings for any illegal items. A body search or use of a body scanner may also be conducted.
- You will then be issued a uniform, and a mugshot will be taken.
- You will be placed in a holding cell, where you will remain until your trial begins. You may also be taken in for questioning to help clarify your case.
⚖ LEGAL SYSTEM ⚖
In Sancelore Lockmare, we have two courts: the District Court and the Queens Court. All cases that do not deal with state hostages are brought before the district Court. After a judgment has been rendered in the district court, the defendant may appeal it to the Queen’s Court.
1️⃣ District court
The District Court is fully automated and only requires a staff member and a the defendant to conduct the trial. There are one judges assigned. The defendant will have a lawyer present, controlled by the defendant. The staff member will controll the prosecutor & the judge.
The district court will judge according to what is stated in the Sanzelore Lockmare Law (SL Law). We recommend that you read this before committing any form of crime. Also read about our prison units. We have a normal prison where you serve the sentence that has been given and a prison where regardless of the sentence you only serve 10-60 minutes of real time in prison (Quick prison).
2️⃣ Queens court
Queen Court handles cases that have been appealed from the District Court. Queen Avril serves as the judge in the this court. As such, Avril has the authority to make rulings based on her own discretion.
