ALCOHOL TESTER USER GUIDE

You find the equipment in SL Ploce Equipment at the wardrobe in the police station.

This alcohol tester is used to perform an in-world alcohol test on a nearby avatar.

HOW TO START A TEST

  1. Wear or attach the alcohol tester.
  2. Touch the alcohol tester.
  3. The tester will scan for avatars within 10 meters.
  4. Choose the avatar you want to test from the menu.
  5. The selected avatar will receive a test request.

The person being tested must accept the test before it can continue.

IF THE PERSON REFUSES

If the selected avatar refuses the test, the person holding the alcohol tester will receive a message saying that the test was refused.

HOW THE TEST WORKS

The tested avatar will be asked to enter the following information:

  • Body weight unit: KG or Pounds
  • Body weight
  • Sex: Male or Female
  • Number of drinks consumed
  • Hours since last alcohol unit

DRINK CATEGORIES

The tested avatar can enter drinks using +, -, and reset buttons.

The available drink categories are:

  • Beer
  • Strong beer
  • Wine
  • Fortified wine
  • Spirits
  • Cocktail

Use + to add one drink.
Use – to remove one drink.
Use reset to set that drink type back to zero.

After all drinks have been entered, press Done.

RESULT

When the test is complete, the person holding the alcohol tester receives the result.

The result includes:

  • Tested avatar name
  • Entered drinks
  • Total alcohol units
  • Weight
  • Sex
  • Hours since last unit
  • Estimated BAC
  • Result
  • Recommendation

LEGAL LIMIT

The alcohol limit is set to:

0.20‰

If the estimated BAC is 0.20‰ or lower, the result will show:

Within legal limit.
No arrest recommended.

If the estimated BAC is higher than 0.20‰, the result will show:

Over legal limit.
Arrest is recommended.

TIMEOUT

If the tested avatar does not answer within the time limit, the test will automatically cancel.

The person holding the alcohol tester will receive a timeout message.
